SHIPPING
THE GREAT KNIFE SHOP.COM automatically calculates shipping & handling fees based on total amount purchased. Some packages are considered oversize or overweight, which require additional fees. As the result, we reserve the right to adjust shipping & handling fees accordingly.
We use a variety of shipment carriers. Since we charge flat rate shipping, we reserve the right to choose carrier. If you prefer specific shipping carrier please let us know in advance. Depends on the carrier chosen, additional fees might be required.
Insurance is optional. We will not be responsible for lost or damaged merchandise during shipping if insurance is not purchased.
S&H fees are non-refundable once the order is shipped.
Due to the nature of our products, currently we only offer shipping within U.S.
PAYMENT
THE GREAT KNIFE SHOP.COM accepts payments from PayPal (www.paypal.com), money order, personal check, and major credit cards.
For PayPal, we only accept payment with PayPal Confirmed address if your order exceeds $200 USD. Please use other payment methods if your shipping address is not PayPal Confirmed.
Personal checks requires up to 2 weeks to clear. Do not pay by personal check if immediate shipment is desired. A $25 handling fee will be charged for any returned check because of non-sufficient funds.
Do not send cash. We are not responsible for any cash payment lost in mail.
We reserve the right to refuse receiving any payment that might be subject to fraud.
RETURNING
THE GREAT KNIFE SHOP.COM offers a 30-day Money Back Guarantee. Hassle Free. Please e-mail us and specify your invoice number, the product being returned, and the reason for the return.
Returns made without receiving an Return Authorization (RA) number will not be refunded.
All RA numbers must appear on the shipping label. Write the RA number on a separate paper and tape it on the box you are returning. Do not mark the actual box.
Non-defective merchandise returned to THE GREAT KNIFE SHOP.COM for any reason other than a mis-ship of product will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Product must be received by THE GREAT KNIFE SHOP.COM in original condition and within 30 days of our shipping date, or it cannot be accepted for return.
Credit will be issued for the product only.
Shipping charges that you incur will not be refunded unless the return is due to our error and only if a replacement item is ordered. In the instance that return shipping charges are refunded, we will only refund for ground shipping charges, and a receipt must be provided.
WARRANTIES
All warranties and guarantee's, including missing items, are handled directly by the original manufacturer of that item and should be sent to them, not THE GREAT KNIFE SHOP.COM.
